Wildlife Survey

With the 10th anniversary of the Society this year a decision was made to try to record the variety of wildlife species seen within the Parish boundary over the last 10 years. The aim is to keep this as an on-going project to record rare sightings and general trends in wildlife populations and changing patterns. These may be combined with recording "days" and on-going Conservation group activities.

It is hoped that members of the Parish will contribute to the sightings and add to our records. We have largely concentrated on birdlife and have drawn from a number of reliable sources to make our baseline. We would welcome other contributions or guidance on other wildlife species (pondlife, mammals, reptiles, fungi etc.) and it our plan to add these to the database as we progress the project.

You can help by:

Taking an interest in what species habitate within the Parish boundary
Keeping a record of wildlife you see within the Parish boundary especially rare species
Informing the Society by clicking the contact button or whatever!
Encouraging wildlife around your property (habitat, boxes, feeders etc.)
Attending activities and working parties within the Society
Joining the society (details:::)
