St Andrew's Church
St Andrew's is the historic Parish Church of Sutton and the present building dates from 1350. The church is open daily for prayer; its main purpose being to serve all who live in the parish in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Each Sunday the main act of worship is at 10:30 and usually there is an opportunity for fellowship and refreshment for those who wish to stay. On the second Sunday in each month the 10:30 service is a 'Family Eucharist. This service is planned especially for those who have young children or who are new to 'church' in mind, with activities and teaching to reflect this. However, there is also plenty to think about for those who are more experienced churchgoers and provides an opportunity to reflect on things which can often be taken for granted.
St Andrew's has a strong musical tradition which includes both junior and adult choirs as well as bell-ringers. If you would like to become involved in these ministries, or indeed any other sphere of the church's life, we would love to here from you.
Throughout the year we aim to host a number of events, reaching out to all sectors of our community. Details of these, as well as our services, are advertised regularly by means of the Pepperpot and also on the weekly bulletin in the Church Porch.
If you would like to know more about any of the above or have any observations on ways in which we may better serve you please contact the Vicar:
